Why Feeling Uncomfortable is a Good Thing

Career, For Individuals, Priorities, Purpose | 0 comments

“This year has really made me think.” I’ve been hearing this a lot lately. For some, it’s been about creatively finding solutions to business problems they never thought they’d have. For others, it’s about working in ways they never thought they would. But for the vast majority, it’s been about better understanding their priorities.

Disruption shows us things we can’t unsee:

🌧️The parts of us that were put on hold while we were spinning our wheels at the office.

🌧️The lingering microaggressions that we didn’t know how to handle in the moment.

🌧️The undeniable realization that something just isn’t working anymore.

As the year starts to wind down, so many of us are taking stock of what matters most in our lives – inside and outside the office – and it’s exciting and terrifying.

I’ve been there and I’m here to tell you that nothing is more important than living and working in alignment with your values and priorities.

To do that, you have to know what they are.

SO DON’T SHY AWAY FROM THOSE THINGS THAT YOU CAN’T UNSEE.

🌞They’re there to help you and get you back on track.

🌞To remind you who you are and what you want.

🌞That better is out there – and you deserve it.

2020 has shown us the things that matter most to us and now we need to decide what we do with that data.

When you’re ready to stop tolerating your day-to-day and feel more fulfilled at work, learn more about my private coaching package here.
